Hi I really want to try this cms as I love xara and this sounds cool that it will work together but when i go to http://www.mydomain.net/cms/admin/?login   and login with the password admin admin as instructed it goes to a google cannot display the page and the address in the bar at the top is http://www.mydomain.netcms/admin/?login as you can see the forward slash before cms is missing so I cannot continue to set it up.

I am using the latest 1.4.0 trial version please help

Thanks for reporting this. Some servers return the document root with a trailing slash and some without and this is what caused the problem with the missing forward slash. I responded to your email with an updated file which should fix this. This fix will also be included in the next release.

I am using the version 1.5.1 and I am getting the same problem. Very frustrating as this appears to be the holy grale of web design. Can anyone help with this?

I have just re-installed and followed the tutorial to the letter. When I got to check the install before changing the file permission I cannot get the same page saying that I need to change the read write permission as per video, instead I get

"Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.bypaulharrison.com/cms/admin/. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this webpage later.
HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request."

Why is it just so difficult??

I have now changed the file permissions and still get the same error on the browser
