Lost Admin Password

Is there any way to recover a lost admin password as it was changed by someone who has now left and i can no longer login to admin area.  I do have fuil ftp access to files but dont really want to have to re-install and start all over again.

If you rename or delete the config.php file in the data folder you can then login with the default login details.

Edit: In newer versions of the CMS the file you need to rename/delete is: sys/data/cms_settings.php

Default login details on a new install or if you remove the configuration file are "admin" for both username and password.
